PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO CHANGE THE GAME.

We don’t just empower, educate, and equip the kids — we help with the tools and knowledge to apply the skills they learn in the gym to those they will need in life. We use a multi-disciplinary approach to help them redefine their problems off the court and address those issues head on. We push them to work hard and challenge them to do more — to become better people, live up to their potential, and thrive.

Our programs

With a wide variety of programs, we offer something for every kid who comes our way. All DRIVE programs are free of financial commitments, but there are no free handouts, no free lunches, and no free rides: The price of admission to any DRIVE program is 100% dedication.

Every DRIVE participant is required to stay in school, stay out of trouble, and engage in community service while they participate in our programs.

What our programs offer

Every DRIVE program is free of charge, providing access to resources, support, and growth opportunities beyond what school and community can provide:

Professional performance and skill development training
A unique mix of sport-specific strength, conditioning, and skill-development exercises are provided by professionals who’ve worked with elite NCAA Division I and NBA players.

Mindfulness skills
Traditional mindfulness practices and exercises are adapted to kids’ needs in a way that interests them and resonates with them.

Structure and mentoring
We work with each individual to provide programs tailored to their level of preparedness. We help them set goals and follow through on commitments, expand perspectives, make them aware of life’s possibilities, and support them in making healthy lifestyle choices.

Interaction with positive role models
Trainers, guest speakers, and volunteers are committed to enhancing the athletic, educational, and social experience of DRIVE youth; peers share a passion for the game.

Community service
In teaching good citizenship and fostering social responsibility, each kid is required to volunteer within the community (projects may range from picking up street litter to feeding the homeless).

A safe environment
Facilities are in good condition, in a good location (accessible via public transportation), and staffed by caring supervisors.
