Charles earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin. With more than 13 years of experience in the world of advertising and design, Charles is passionate about the art of storytelling. He has helped shepherd the voice of national brands like Harley-Davidson, Wolverine, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day, Marquette University, and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. But his conceptual work for non-profits that impact the lives of at-risk youth like Lad Lake, PAVE, and The Youth Empowerment Program – a pilot program for the US Government’s Office of Minority Health – made him the perfect fit for DRIVE. His work has won numerous awards and has been featured in publications such as Communication Arts, Graphis, Print, and How.
Charles collaborated with Paul Bartlett and the team at DRIVE to deliver not only the organization’s name, tagline, and website, but its underlying brand strategy as well.
Charles lives in Wisconsin’s northern Kettle Moraine with his wife and daughter, where he spends a great deal of time volunteering with his parish. He enjoys reading, book collecting, photography, publishing, cooking, and singing with his band, Mead Lake’s Most Wanted.
